Where can I use them?
All our tiles are completely weather resistant, so can be used indoors or outdoors.
- Personalise your entrance wall with a sea-side story that includes your house number.
- Spice up your outdoor entertainment area with some sparkle that looks great come rain or shine.
- Add striking accents to a kitchen or bathroom wall.
- Gift a tile as a unique house-warming present.
Size & Colour choice
- All tiles are 175 x 175 x 12mm and come in a choice of white or beige clay.
- White clay has a fine, crisp finish & these tiles have a grey glazed edge to compliment any wall colour.
- Beige clay has a natural texture & provides a rustic effect that works against any wall colour.
How to hang them
Hang them up like you would a picture or fix them to your wall with a wall-tile adhesive for external use; available at most hardware stores.
The tiles allow for either method to be used, as they have built-in picture hooks for hanging, as well as a textured back, if you prefer to adhere them to the wall.
The rock-pool tiles have the ability to hang in all 4 orientations to enhance your sea-side story layout.
Drilling:
Here is a drilling template that prints to A4. It provides a 40mm gap between tiles, which is double the width of the tile edge - a good proportional spacing for close layouts.
Tip: Print in A4 portrait layout, using "Actual Size" (NOT "Fit") in the print dialogue box. Measure the 210mm gap between drill-holes once printed to check before drilling.
Where can I buy them?
Our online shop is currently being built. In the meantime, to purchase online, simply tell us which tiles you would like.
We are constantly replenishing our stock of wall tiles, but if the specific one you want is not currently available, we will add it to the top of the list of tiles to be made and fired in the next batch.
How much are they?
- House number, Eircode and rock pool tiles cost €35 each
- All other beach scene tiles cost €45 each
What's the pottery order process?
- Until the shop is built, we are treating this like a commission
- We do not ask for payment when you email in your order.
- The total price, including shipping, is confirmed by email.
- When we are ready to build your order, we will confirm that you still wish to proceed.
- At this stage, we required payment only for any specific house number or Eircode tiles.
- When we are ready to post your order, we will contact you for the balance of any payment.
How long does it take to receive a specific order?
This depends on the current waiting list, but as ball-park indication, expect 4-6 weeks.
Like all bespoke pieces of art, hand-made pottery takes time to turn around. Each piece is fired twice after it is built and in order to keep costs down, we need to fill the kiln each time with individually built pieces.
